Running From What Wasn't (Eclipse, RC, and more?)

Brambleclaw sighed. "Thanks..." He bent over and started on the mouse. He wasn't sure he should've trusted her, but he had no one else he could rely on. She was his last hope. He scooted a little closer to her and laid his head on her shoulder. "Thanks for listening."

[Eclipse]

"It's nice to be able to talk to someone every now and then," Stripepelt shrugged. "No problem really." She purred with surprise when he rested his head on her shoulder. "I my self am an exile from Riverclan. I got kicked out, because I believed in Tigerstar. Then he betrayed us all, by getting the Bloodclan, and I left him. But the deed was done, and I was never let back there again." She said sadly, remembering those days. They had run through the forest, stealing prey and attacking any who stood in their way. Then he had gotten those fleabitten killers, and betrayed them all. He left his trust with the others, not with those he had always run with. It had made her angry, and she had tried to go back. But they chased her out with words of anger, promising to kill her if she ever came back. On the day Tigerstar was killed, she had been fighting as well, but against his forces. A loner among the clans, but still an enemy of that evil tom.

OOC: I accidentally bought the wrong book, but I shall go get the right one soon, so I can keep reading through the series. What book is it that the thing happens with Brambleclaw?

OOC: NVM, its sunrise. Gosh dangit close enough. However it'll make no sense without reading all of power of three. You have to read them all in order. Oh well, here I go.

Brambleclaw grew tense at the hatred the cat had of Tigerstar. After she mentioned his death, Brambleclaw stood up and said "Stop right there! Have you no respect?! Don't you know who I am? Take a good long look at me and tell me if I remind you of someone. You may want to rethink your words if you do." He moved further away from her and sat right back down. So much was happening to him! First the whole Squirrelflight ordeal, then learning how to be a loner, and now this? Some strange cat insulting his father. What a day! He thought.

[Eclipse]

OOC: Oh, well duh xD Of course I will read them all in order! I am on, haha how ironic, Eclipse, right now. ;P

Stripepelt took a good look at the tom before her, the one called Brambleclaw. Now that he mentioned it, he was almost the exact replica of Tigerstar. His son. Him and Hawkfrost, of course. Great. So her life was that of one destined to meet each relative of Tigerstar was it? Well, this time she wouldn't make the same mistake. She wouldn't have anything against this cat unless he made any wrong move to prove himself at all like his father. Then she would have to react, very harshly. "I realize who you are, cat. Calm down." She said firmly, but gently. "But I refuse to rethink my words. Tigerstar was a traitor. I am sorry, but there is no way to soften that truth."

[Redclaws]

Brambleclaw got right up in her face. "I have a name, I'd prefer you used it!" He then got a lost look in his eyes and stepped back, scared like a kit. "Or do I have a name? Brambleclaw is a clan name, but I'm no longer a clan cat. What should I do?" He started shaking. If he wasn't Thunderclan or Brambleclaw, Who was he?

[Eclipse]

"Once again, relax. You can choose to keep your name, or to change it. I am no clan cat, am I? But what is my name?" Stripepelt reminded him gently. "Once you have been abandoned by your clan, or vice versa, you can choose to be any cat that you wish. Cold blooded killer, or an angel on his way to find the path back to StarClan's meadows. I have chosen to stay Stripepelt, and I have not turned my back on Starclan." She told him.

[Redclaws]

Brambleclaw looked at her almost surprisedly. "Of course I'm not abandoning starclan! They've given me everything I ever... wanted... But now it's gone..." He looked up to the stars. They were unblocked and shining brighter than ever. What are you doing up there Starclan? What have I done to deserve this? He sighed and flopped down on his belly. "I honestly don't know if I'll ever belong anywhere or with anyone again..."

[Eclipse]

"That's how all newbies are." She sighed softly. "We never know where we belong. In fact, I still don't. That is why I wander." She looked at him sadly.

"Perhaps you could stay with me awhile? Just until you have an idea where you want to go. I would like the company. It is rare in the world of rogues and loners."
